If we didn't get you at "the most delicious French house party" let us tell you more......

The perfect foodie combination of talent, passion & an amazing location

Kathy & Kirstie each have years of experience in the world of good food and are also long term collaborators. They love everything to do with beautiful produce - growing it, sourcing it, cooking it, styling it, writing/talking about it and filming it. They have worked with the best in the field including Daylesford, Olive magazine, River Cottage, Waitrose, Simple Things magazine, The Observer & BBC.

The location, rural South West France, has a proud food heritage. Your "home from home" is Manoir Mouret which was built by the village’s master winemaker in the 1850s. Today its owners, Jack & Margaret - former local winemakers themselves, have a vibrant year-round potager and orchard producing over 40 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and nuts for their guests.

Kathy & Kirstie will share tips and techniques for cooking and making your food look as good on film as it tastes!

We'll enjoy supper club style meals on the terrace over a glass of local wine, visit food producers and, with Kirstie's guiding hand (and your mobile phone), learn to create a beautiful, permanent record of the experience.

There will also be chances to learn from Jack about this ancient winemaking area and its wines, to relax by the pool, treat yourself to a massage or walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Kathy - Veg Grower, food writer & cook

"If there's one thing I love in life, I mean really, passionately adore, its vegetables. I spent 3 fabulous years at Daylesford (in the Cotswolds, UK) learning how to grow, cook and teach. Meanwhile, I began doing supperclubs & cookery demonstrations, including with Waitrose and Fortnum & Masons. All my menus then and now are dictated by what is available from local growers, or better still, directly from a French potager! I'm really looking forward to spending time cooking, styling and having fun at Mouret."

Kirstie - Professional food photographer & stylist

"I have always loved visual storytelling, and my background is in film and TV where I learnt how to tell stories with colour and composition.  I have taken this into my photography over the last 15 years as a food photographer, shooting magazine features and cookbooks, creating advertisements, capturing natural looking portraits of chefs & covering prestigious culinary events. I'm really excited to have the chance to spend some time in such a beautiful setting teaching you how to get the best out of your phone photography, whether you are choosing the best looking tomatoes in the market, or putting the finishing touches to your plate,  I can't wait to help you explore your own creative process"

Jack & Margaret - winemakers, veg growers, hosts

“We're excited to be running this fun, immersive, foodie experience at Mouret with Kathy & Kirstie. We have lived and worked in Andillac for over 10 years and know that good local produce is an essential part of life here. We're looking forward to sharing our local knowledge, learning alongside everyone and enjoying the whole experience.” Jack and Margaret
